The Story

Jade and Elleni met the traditional way, online. Their initial small talk was tedious and dull until Elleni realized that they had a friend in common. Realising they had the mutual friend broke the ice and after that their conversation flowed. It would be 6 long weeks before they met in person but the attraction was alive and kicking already. Elleni knew Jade was potentially THE ONE before they even met in person, and Jade being Jade was a little more sceptical.

Of course they did the responsible thing and both let a friend know they were going on a date with someone they had met online. Poor Stina and Carmen were beside themselves when they did not hear from either of them until around 3pm the next day not knowing if Jade and Elleni were about to be the inspiration for a true crime podcast, or if they’d just gotten along really, REALLY well.

Spoiler alert, it wasn’t the first.

From that night on they were inseparable, spending many an evening enjoying a glass of wine, dancing in the kitchen while cooking a meal together. Jade’s scepticism quickly wore off. Although they talked of marriage very early on they decided that they should concentrate their efforts and monies on making the little bubba you can now see protruding from Jade’s belly. With baby Toumpas onboard, Elleni set about surprising Jade with a proposal that involved Jade’s very favourite food groups… pasta and cake.
