Alice and Pippa - Romance and love at Zonzo Estate in the Yarra Valley.

Alice and Pip were married at Zonzo Estate in the Yarra Valley

Alice and Pip’s story starts as friends… then colleagues… then lovers… and now wives (and mums!).

They met when Pip was in London for work, before she was transferred to work from there at the same office that Alice was in. They fell in love over time, and before they knew it, they realised they’d met the big love of their life.

As their Celebrant and MC it was super fun to flex my London knowledge with Alice’s family who had all come over to celebrate with her and Pip on the day. They chose dresses that matched their personalities, which just happened to work beautifully with each other (because how could they not!).

All along they knew they wanted a little bit of a rustic vibe, with a nod to their shared love of travel thrown in. They picked lots of greenery, eucalyptus, whites and gold, with a little bit of blush as their wedding colours and gave luggage tags to their guests as a thank you present. And while they didn’t have a wedding party, they did have four flower girls to share the day with.

With 85 guests and a cocktail theme, theirs was a perfect summer wedding in the Yarra Valley.

What they had to say

“Words can't describe how happy we were to have Precious play such an integral role in our wedding. She was both our Celebrant and MC, and it was the best choice we made for our big day!

Precious oozes love and truly knows how to express and celebrate it, which meant that most of our guests were in tears during our ceremony! She is funny and eloquent, and her ability to make everyone feel comfortable was a total game changer. All our guests thought she was a close friend of ours because she made our ceremony so personal. She was so warm and welcoming that it seemed like we had known her for years :)

Nothing was too much trouble for Precious, from making our flower girls laugh in spite of their nerves, to pinning up a wedding dress when the bustle broke.

Possibly the best thing about having Precious at our wedding was the way she MC'd and bantered with our guests. She constantly 'read the room' and knew how to work the crowd to ensure everyone was having a great time, and she even worked hard to keep the speeches on time.
If anyone knows how to represent and celebrate love, it's Precious. Choose her to be your celebrant and MC and you won't regret it!”
