Blair + Stu - Romance meets Modern for A Rupert on Rupert Elopement, Collingwood.
An elopement at Rupert on Rupert will always be a special day, but for Blair and Stu it was even more so. As their Marriage Celebrant I was in the perfect place to see Blair walk down the aisle to her now husband Stu, slaying in a suit that was so perfect my jaw was dropped.

The Story
Blair and Stu’s story starts in 2009 when a cute guy who ran the printers met a graphic design student, and that guy’s jaw immediately dropped. Stu can’t remember which event it was, but he remembers seeing Blair, and in that moment time slowed down.
But it wasn’t until the next year that things would start to heat up and they’d have their first pash. And when they did, it was electric. At the end of a long night chatting in Blair’s share house kitchen, at 6am they kissed.
Stu remembers it being so good in fact that he can only remember two things about it. One, that he was listening to Lisa Mitchell, and two, that he was so excited that he actually ended up running home that night, instead of taking a casual stroll as he normally would.
Within the next few years, they’d moved in with Stu’s flatmates, Roslyn and Michael, who were rather great about it, despite it being perhaps unexpected. They went on their first trip to America, where they met their then favourite podcasters from Adventures in Design, ended up bungee jumping in NZ, and even had their second trip to America, this time visiting Palm Springs which lead to some of their favourite ever core memories. And throughout it all, they’ve fallen more and more in love, both with each other and their adopted home of Melbourne.
