The Story
Nic and Odi first met over Bumble, but when Nic found out that Odi was mates with her brother and some other mates she said thanks, but no thanks. That was dating way too close to comfort and so she let a good thing go.
But all good things that are meant to be come back to us, and that’s exactly what Odi did.
Because a few weeks later at Return to Rio festival fate threw them back together. Luckily for them Nic didn’t recognise Odi from his Bumble pictures and over the course of the day she started to become more than a little bit more smitten with him. So when she got home and stalked him on Facebook she was shocked to see that he was the man that she’d already turned down once.
For the next 6 weeks they were, as Pat recently roasted Nic, ‘online pen pals’ before she finally asked Odi out on a date. And that was it. From their first date they knew that things were meant to be.
As Nic told me, if she hadn’t of lived it, she wouldn’t have thought it was possible, but there has never been an awkward moment between them. She was completely at ease from their first date, and that feeling of love, comfort and ease has only grown stronger. And Odi feels the same. From the first moments of their first date, Nic instantly felt calm and natural to be around. She is first person to truly get him, and he never thought love like this would be possible until he met Nic.
