Wed at Glasshaus Outside and the celebrations being held at their sister venue Glasshaus Inside, it was a joy to be the Celebrant and MC for Pia and Suny’s wedding. With the word of the day absolutely being COLOURFUL, Suny and Pia leant into the vibrancy that a wedding ceremony can bring.

The Review
“We feel absolutely honoured to have had Precious as our celebrant and MC. We wanted a heartfelt, inclusive, and fun ceremony that was personalised and reflected who we are as individuals and as a couple. Precious could not have been more perfect, we felt an immediate connection with her.
Precious made us laugh so much but also made us feel safe sharing our life and relationship journey with her. She transformed our story into the most incredible ceremony we could ever imagine.
The detail, warmth and humour she incorporated so effortlessly into our ceremony was more than we could have ever hoped for. She had also prepared the most beautiful acknowledgement of country we had ever heard. Precious captured small details about our relationship that we shared with her and incorporated them into the ceremony, which perfectly described our life together.
On the wedding day, she made off the cuff jokes which made everyone roar with laughter, her talent and wit as a celebrant is unparalleled. Precious as MC was effervescent and hilarious. Our guests absolutely loved her. We felt really taken care of, she kept bringing us G&Ts and carried that Precious energy and love that is so unique to her. Precious is an absolute treasure, thank you Precious for being you 💖”
The story
Pia and Suny met one day in April 2017 at salsa class. The class had about 100 people in it, evenly split between men and women, but only two people there were soulmates in waiting. Suny waited and patiently danced with 49 women every class so he could have the chance to dance with the one he wanted. Every time he danced with her his heart sung and his hips swayed just that little bit more smoothly. On their second night chatting after class Suny walked Pia home, and that’s when she started to realise that she’d just met the person for her.
However, this was severely and almost irretrievably damaged when on their first date Suny arrived late having gotten the postcode completely wrong. In Pia’s mind she had given him 30 minutes to show up, and if he didn’t within that time she was leaving. Luckily, at the 29th minute, in rushed Suny, completely apologetic about his lateness and determined to make it up with a kiss that would put Disney to shame. Only thing was that Pia, having building up steam for 29 minutes, was not in the mood and I believe their first kiss was akin to kissing a statue.
Luckily for them, it got better.
